Albert Miller Jr., age 76, of Grayson, Ky., went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010 in Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson.
He was born June 15, 1934, in Louisa, Ky., a son of the late Albert and Della R. Childers Miller.
He was employed with Miller Wholesale Fruits & Vegetables and was retired from Mountain Enterprise. He was a Christian and attended the Gregoryville Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Imogene Felix and Geneva Patrick and two brothers, John Miller and Freddie Miller.
His survivors include his wife, Margaret Chandler Miller of Grayson; two sons, David (and Beverly) Miller and Gary Miller, all of Grayson; one daughter, Diana (and John M.) Brown III of Catlettsburg, Ky.; two sisters, Josephine Preece of Louisa, and Pauline Cook of Dayton, Ohio; four brothers, Bascom Miller of Cannonsburg, Ky., Jim Miller of Hitchins, Ky., Ishmael Miller of Portland, Ore., and Homer Miller of Ashland; four grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
Funeral service will be at noon Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Ron Arnett, officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
