Alice Patrick

93, of St. Petersburg, Florida went home to be with the Lord May 25, 2018. She was the youngest child of James W. and Beulah Whitt, born August 16, 1924 in Pinsonfork, Kentucky. The family moved to St. Petersburg in 1960. She was employed at St. Petersburg College for twenty years before her retirement. Alice was the matriarch of her family and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James, her parents and four siblings. Her survivors include her three children, Julia Rissler, Susan Mahony and James W. Patrick, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was a loyal active member of Pasadena Community church and the UMW for forty-eight years. She was a proud member of the DAR. She dedicated her life to being a loving, generous and joyful woman in every aspect of her life. Her passions were love of southern cooking and yearly visits to her hometown reunions in her beloved Kentucky. She was a woman of faith and lived that way for all of her life. Her memorial service will be held 2:30 pm, Saturday, June 2nd at Pasadena Community Church in the sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pasadena Community Church.
