Betty June Donald Williams, 84, of Catlettsburg, ran into the arms of Jesus with her family by her side on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, in Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods.

She was born Aug. 3, 1930, in Kenova, W.Va., a daughter of the late James G. and Tella Parsley Donald. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Travis Williams.


She was a former agent for the Commonwealth Insurance Co.

She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Jennifer and Tom Tomlin of Catlettsburg and Pam and Ken Laney of Ashland; her grandchildren, Timothy Paul Weddington, William Nathan Thornsbury and Kelli and Bobby Page; great-grandchildren Caleb Weddington, Kendra Richardson, Dallas and Dakota Weddington, Alivia and Blake Thornsbury and Bailee, Delaney and Ashlee Page; a great-great-grandchild, Carson Craig; and two brothers, Jimmy Donald of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Allen Jennings of Spokane, Wash.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova by Pastor Tim Crabtree and Pastor Dwayne Young. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 9, 2014, at the funeral home.
