Charles Edward Dulaney, 46, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, in Westwood.
Mr. Dulaney was born Aug. 21, 1966, in Ashland, a son of Arilda Daniels Dulaney of Ashland and the late Leonidas R. Dulaney. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Mark S. Dulaney.
He was employed by The Independent for 22 years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by four sisters, Carolyn Sue Phillips and Ethel M. Dulaney, both of Ashland, Brenda Wellman of Florida and Sharon L. Boll of Franklin Furnace, Ohio; three brothers, Russell Dulaney of Franklin Furnace, Danny Dulaney of Florida and George Dulaney of Lexington; and a beloved friend and companion, his dog, Sky.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum in Ashland by the Rev. Brian Steel.
Family and friends may call after noon Thursday at the mausoleum.
Evans Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
