Charles E. "Corky" Jordan - 1943-2010
Charles E. "Corky" Jordan, 67, of Russell, Ky., died March 24, 2010, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital ER.
He was born Jan. 15, 1943, in Ashland, Ky., a son of the late Clarence E. and Murial Eastham Jordan. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Fay Mahan Jordan.
He was employed with the maintenance department of AK Steel Corp. He was a member and deacon of Rose Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Charles Lee Jordan of Flatwoods, Ky.; a daughter, Shari Lynn Moore of Flatwoods; a brother, James M. Jordan of Carterville, Ga.; his girlfriend, Shelia Morris of Ironton, Ohio; and grandchildren Kenny Moore, David Moore II, Danielle Moore, Austin Jordan and Chris Jordan.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods by Pastor Ronnie Mays. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
