Hewas born on July16, 1934 in Charleston, W.Va., to the late Luther Vernon and Elsie Elizabeth KellyCampbell. Hewas preceded in death by three brothers: Harold, Charles andDonald. Cledithwas amember ofthe WVNational Guard. Hewas an ordained into theministry by the Riverside BaptistChurch, Pineville, Ky., and served as pastorin both West Virginia and Kentucky. Survivorsinclude his wife of 67 years, Barbara; hisfive children: Cledith Jr. (Ruthie), Michael, Paul(Sandy), Robin andDanny (Margie); eleven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one sister, Marie Johnson. The familywillreceive friendsfrom10-11 a.m. on Monday,October 28, 2019atthe Altizer BaptistChurch, Huntington, with funeralservicesfollowing visitation. Private burialservicewill be conducted at RoseHillBurial Park, Ashland, Ky.
