Edwin Browning

Edwin A. Browning, 85, of Worthington, Ky. passed away peacefully Thursday morning December 20, 2018 with his wife and sons by his side.
Ed was born April 24, 1933 in Logan County, W.Va. to the late Benjamin F. and Elva Bowles Browning. He was also preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Ed was of Baptist Faith and gave his life to the Lord December 10, 2018. He was a retired Engineer from C&O and CSX Railroad, and an Army Korean War Veteran.
Surviving him is his wife of 63 years Naomi Browning of Worthington, Ky.; his sons, Ted (Brenda) Browning of Flatwoods, Ky., Tim (Shelley) Browning of Worthington, Ky., and Terry Browning of Worthington, Ky.; brothers Jerry Browning of Hawaii, Glenn Browning of Dayton, Ohio, Don Browning of Dayton, Ohio, and George Browning of Daven, W.Va.; a sister Irene Welch of Monroe, N.C.; grandchildren; Stephanie Craig, Erica Stephens, Sarah Browning, Emily Browning, and Isaac Browning; and great grandchildren, Autumn Craig, Michael Craig Jr., Lucas Craig, Austin Stephens, and Elijah Stephens.
Funeral services for Ed will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Music Family Funeral Home in Greenup with Reverend Earl Cathey officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from Noon until 2 p.m. at Music Family Funeral Home in Greenup. Entombment will follow services in Rose Hill Burial Park. Contributions may be made to Community Hospice in Ashland. Arrangements are under the direction of Music Family Funeral Home in Greenup.
