Elizabeth Diane Tackett, 65, of Richmond, Ky, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2019. She was born on January 1, 1954 in Ashland, Ky to the late William J. And Maxie Sparks Tackett.

She was a retired systems analyst for Ashland Inc. She assisted with the programming of robots used by Ashland services. She donated her time to KET, Habitat for Humanity, and was on the board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters in Lexington Ky. Her needlepoint was displayed at the Lexington museum of art and were gifts to many.

She is survived by sisters Nancy Wood and Donna Dillman, both of Richmond, Ky, a brother Mike Tackett (Barb) of Houston, Texas, nephews Scott Dillman (Jill, Drew, Ben), Chris Dillman (Becky, Ella, Alex), nieces Stacey Wilhoite ( Jimmy, Ethan), Jessica White (Preston, Molly, Ben) Lizzie Laird (Mason, Henry, Roy) and many great nieces and nephews. She is survived by a very special great nephew, Ethan Michael Wood, whom she loved with all her heart.

She is preceded in death by her brother John Mark Tackett and many family members.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday March 9, 2019 at 11am at Rose Hill Burial Park, Mausoleum Chapel and will be officiated by Pastor Tom Leach and Mike Tackett. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park
