ASHLAND - Ethel Hurley, 67, of Ashland, passed peacefully and went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 17, 1946, in Bootsbach, Germany, the daughter of Johanna Jahn Faulkner of Ashland and the late Harry D. Faulkner. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Klaus Dieter Jahn.
She was a former employee in the medical office of Dr. Steven Edge and a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, John E. Hurley; a daughter, Teresa R. (Jeff) Conley of Ashland; a son, Michael D. (Deanna) Hurley of Ashland; a sister, Marsha (Roger) LeMaster of Ashland; a brother, John (Sherry) Faulkner of Ashland; a sister-in-law, Wanda Daniels of Ashland; five grandchildren, Austin Hurley, Cody Conley, Sarah Hurley, Cameron Conley and Katelyn Hurley; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland, by Father Paul Prabell. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
The family will receive friends after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
