Everett Raymond Gee, Jr., 70 of Ashland, Ky., passed away on June 14, 2014 at Kings Daughters Medical Center. He was born on November 18, 1943 in Ashland, Ky. , the son of the late Everett Raymond Gee, and Hope Douglas Moore Gee of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister Susan Adkins in 1968.
He graduated from Ashland Senior High School class of 1961. He worked at Armco Steel Corporation before joining the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his sister Gale Hopkinson, niece, Cara and husband John Spaulding, great-niece Kyla Spaulding all of Ponte Verda Beach, FL.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Rose Hill Burial Park. There will be no visitation. Arrangements under the direction of the Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel.
