Gary Gibson (1955-2009)
Gary Gibson, 53, of Ironville, Ky., husband of Melba K. Robison Gibson, died Sunday morning in King's Daughters Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Gary was born Nov. 2, 1955, in Magoffin County, Ky., a son of the late Harold and Rebecca Arnett Gibson.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Lowell C. Gibson, and was a mechanic with Giant Auto Group.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Channing Daniel Howard and Austin Dakota Barnett; a daughter, Channa Danielle Howard; six brothers, Larry Gibson of Columbus, Ohio, Paul Gibson of Salyersville, Ky., Jerry Gibson of Gallipolis, Ohio, Timmy Gibson of Salyersville, Mark Gibson of Cambridge, Ohio, and Tony Gibson of Grayson, Ky.; and two sisters, Janet Burchett of Cambridge and Connie Arnett of Rush, Ky.
Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday at Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland by Brother Tim Stewart.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight and an hour before the service Wednesday.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
