Glenna Bobbie Preece (1945-2009)
Glenna Bobbie Preece, 63, of Catlettsburg, Ky., died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 8, 1945, in Boyd County, Ky., a daughter of the late James L. "Bob" Porter and Myrtle Helms Porter.
She was in quality control at the Cinderella Dress Factory and owner of Preece Wholesale in Catlettsburg. She was union president for 12 years while with the dress factory and associated with Shepherd Chapel in Gravette, Ark.
Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Benny Preece, and a sister-in-law, Margaret Blanton of Catlettsburg.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland by Benny Preece. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tim Thompson, Todd Thompson, Gary Preece, Tim Deboard, Bill Owens and Jim Ingles.
