GREENUP - Goldie May Frazier, 89, of Greenup, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell.

She was born in Williamson, W.Va., on Sept. 7, 1922, a daughter of the late Wayne and Cordelia Hargess Frazier.

She was a member of Argillite Nazarene Church and a retired maid for the Henry Clay Hotel and Howard Johnson Motels in Florida.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lark Frazier and James M. Frazier; and five sisters, Nannie Branham, Viola Ball, Marie Sundbald, Lizzie Frazier and Norma Morrow.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and was a mother to many of them. She was a blessing to their lives and will be sadly missed by each and every one.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at Wright's Funeral Home in Greenup by Brother Tom Jackson. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.

Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
