Helen Fraley Young, 86, of Westwood, widow of Robert "Bob" Young, died Friday evening in Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, Fla., while surrounded by her loving family.

Helen was born March 15, 1926, in New Boston, Ohio, a daughter of the late Frank and Belle Thompson Fraley.

Helen was a member of Fairview Baptist Church since 1958. She joins her loving husband of 65 years, Bob Young, who preceded her in death just short of 21a��2 months ago. She and Bob enjoyed their time in Florida and loved to travel. But the most important thing to them was their children and grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Danny Young of Westwood and Darrell Young and his wife, Mary, of Port Charlotte; a brother, Steve Fraley; and six grandchildren, Austin, Eric, Nikki, Carey, Sarah and Nicholas.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland by Pastor Michael Rice. Interment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
