Iris Joan Adkins, 80, of Ashland, KY, peacefully passed away Thursday morning, April 11, 2019 at Boyd Nursing & Rehab. Iris was born March 11, 1939 in Ashland, a daughter of the late Roy and Ruby Hart. Iris was employed as a jewelry specialist at the former Ohio Valley Wholesale in Ashland and worked also in telecommunications.
Survivors include her sons Clay Adkins and Matt Adkins. She is also survived by several extended family members and good friends
Funeral services for Iris will be held 1:00 Monday, April 15, 2019 at the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel by Chaplin Jimm Smedley. Burial will follow the service.
Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon till 1:00pm at the Mausoleum Chapel.
