December 22, 1946 — June 15, 2018

Jean Elaine "Ganny" Stephenson Wheeler, 71, of Wurtland, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Friday, June 15, 2018 peacefully in her sleep at her home.

Jean was born December 22, 1946 in Greenup, Kentucky a daughter of the late Charles and Pearl Arnett Stephenson. She was a retired book keeper and clerk from the former Canteen Corporation in Ashland, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Melvin Knipp; her second Husband Roy L. "Pap" Wheeler; and one brother David Stephenson. She is survived by one daughter Tina and Glen Everman of Grayson, Kentucky; one brother Charles "Tim" Stephenson of Greenup, Kentucky; three sisters Marsha and Bill Hammond of Tracy, California, Cheryl Smith of Wurtland, Kentucky, and Melissa Adkins of Wurtland, Kentucky; two grandchildren Amber (Matt) Enix and Derrek Everman; and two great-grandchildren Parker Enix and Ladybug; a special niece Myriah and Wade Madden of Vanceburg, Kentucky; three nieces Carissa (Jonathan) Kougias and their three children of Texas, Alison Hammond, and Erin (Aaron) Bates of California; one nephew Matthew Hammond of California; several step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Bro. Danny Brown. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 and one hour before the service on Tuesday. Condolences may be made at rlrfuneralhome.com
