Joyce Juanita Cremeans, 81, of Ashland, died Thursday, May 27, 2010, in King's Daughters Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 30, 1928, in Boyd County, Ky., to the late William C. Fleming and Mabel Johnson Fleming.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cremeans, in 1990, and a sister, Mary Kathryn Franklin, in 1989. She attended Rose Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by six sisters, Sarah and Tom Scott of Ashland, Evelyn and Dan Blanton of Ashland, Nancy and Tom Porter of Ashland, Deborah and Ray Adkins of Ashland, Patricia Coburn of Ironton, Ohio, and Janice and Charles Gifford of Ashland; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland by Dr. Ronnie Mayes and the Rev. Charles E. Stewart. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Community Hospice, 1538 Central Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
