JUNE VONDERHEIDE

January 13, 1944 — February 13, 2017

June Gail Crace Vonderheide, 73, passed away at her home in Ashland, Feb. 13, 2017.
June was born Jan. 13, 1944, in Catlettsburg, to Irvin Francis and Mildred Blair Crace and was a graduate of Thomas R. Brown High School. June was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandchild, Lori-Ann Vonderheide.
She is survived by a brother, James Crace of Somerset; three children, William (Deana) Vonderheide of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Tracy (Mitchell) Woods of Ashland and Sean (Penny Konz) Vonderheide of Ashland; six grandchildren, William Dean (Megan McGuire) Vonderheide; and a great-granddaughter due to arrive in April, Isabella Rose Vonderheide of New Philadelphia, Samantha Westbrook Vonderheide (Greg Beyer)of Columbus, Ohio, Derek (Jenna Pittsonberger) Woods of Ashland, Mikayla Blair (Aaron) Hannah of Berea, Tyler Annon of Columbus, and Tea' Vonderheide of Columbus.
June owned a day care facility for more than 20 years. She was an amazing woman who loved to read and serve her community of Unity Square where she was secretary of the activities board. She was an active Christian attending the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved her family and her grandchildren dearly.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum in Ashland with Pastor Benjamin Hurt officiating. All are welcome to attend and celebrate June's life.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home, 2702 Panola Street in Catlettsburg.
