Kenton Webb

Kenton P. Webb, 95, of Ashland went to be with his Lord Friday July 20, 2018 at the Kingsbrook Life Care Center in Ashland. Kenton was born April 21, 1923 in Webbville, KY a son of the late Ernest T. and Nona Cooksey Webb. In addition to his parents Kenton was preceded in death by a brother, Elmo Webb; and a sister, Roberta Smith.
Kenton is a US Army veteran who served his country honorably during WW II in the European Theater. Kenton was retired from AK Steel after 35 years of service as a machinist helper. Kenton was a member of Coalton First Baptist Church for over 45 years.
Kenton is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Gloria Jean Perry Webb; four children, Carol Stidham of Ashland, Marcia Walker of Worthington, David Webb of Greenup, and Dale Webb of Ashland; a brother in-law who was like a son, Randy Perry of Ft. Walton, FL; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 11 am Monday July 23, 2018 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Paul Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park with full military honors. Visitation will be 6-9 pm Sunday and after 9 am Monday all at the funeral home.
