Lillian Mae Robinson Guyette, 85, of Ashland, passed away Sunday morning surrounded by her loving family. Lillian was born May 7, 1933 in Elliott County, KY, a daughter of the late Charlie Oscar and Minnie Mae Baugess Robinson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Herbert W. Guyette; brothers Sherman, George, Lloyd, James, and Herschel Robinson; sisters Lena Robinson Darby, Lola Robinson Porter and Lissie Alice Triplett Salyers.
Lillian was a 1952 graduate of Boyd County High School. She and her late husband Herbert lived and raised their children in Boyd County except for a short move to Florida during Herbert's service with the U.S. Air Force. She attended the Summit Church of the Nazarene. Lillian was a devoted homemaker to her family and a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her daughters Louise Hall (the late Howard Hall) of Hitchens, KY, her children Gregg (Melissa) Hall and their children Kyle, Blake and Zack, her daughter Geri Hall-Salmons (Russ) and their daughter Haley Janai; Linda McDowell and husband Ricky of Ashland; Lisa Gipson and husband Paul J, II of Ashland and their son Jeffrey (Jessica) Hall and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Steen Funeral Home 13th St. Chapel by Pastor Rob Steinbrook and Michael Snyder. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
