Linda Deerfield

Linda Lee Deerfield, 79, of Ashland, died Saturday evening, January 5, in Kingsbrook Life Care Center following an extended illness.
Linda was born December 3, 1939 in Huntington, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Bill and Wilma Long Doss. She was retired from the Kentucky Parks System.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by 2 sisters; Jackie Matthews and Patsy Doss.
Linda is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert Eugene Deerfield. A son; Charles Deerfield and wife Joyce of Boones Camp, Kentucky; two daughters, Melinda Deerfield and Andrea Kouns, both of Ashland; a sister; Virginia Beloat of Ashland; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 17, at 12 p.m. at Preston Family Funeral Home by pastor Tommy Reed.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Preston Family Funeral Home
