Linda Kay Meadows (1940-2009)
Linda Kay Meadows, 69, of Ashland, died Sunday, May 3, 2009, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell.
She was born April 26, 1940, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Jesse Donald and Edna Squire Scott. She was the wife of the late William R. Meadows, who passed away in 1986.
She was a homemaker, a member of Grace Baptist Church and a volunteer at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott E. Meadows and Andy J. and Crystal Meadows, both of Ashland; two stepgrandchildren; a brother, Richard Scott of Louisville; a sister, Kathy Fisher of Louisville; a sister-in-law, Lora Meadows of Ashland; and her best friend, Ruth Thompson.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Ashland by William Dillon.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to help defray funeral expenses.
Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
