Lois Mohr

Lois Smith Mohr, 88, of Ashland, widow of Wilbur Stanley Mohr, Jr., died peacefully at her home, Sunday evening, January 28, 2018, following an extended illness. Lois was born May 17, 1929 in Louisville, Kentucky a daughter of the late Walter and Madge Raymond Smith. Lois was a 1950 graduate of Good Samaritan Nursing School and retired from Ashland Children's Clinic. She was also an avid American Saddlebred enthusiast. She was preceded in death, in addition to her husband and parents, by a son, Wilbur Stanley Mohr, III. Surviving include 2 daughters, Mickey Simmons and Marcia Mohr, both of Ashland. A memorial service will be Friday, February 2nd at 1:00 by Pastor Jim Strauser at Preston Family Funeral Home.
