Mary Louise Bartram - 1915-2009
Mary Louise Bartram, 94, of Huntington, W.Va., formerly of Ashland, Ky., and Williamson, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, in Madison Park, Huntington.
She was born May 27, 1915, in Bluefield, W.Va., a daughter of the late Alphonse and Josephine Obert Eckstein. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde L. Bartram; a daughter, Margaret Lynn Bartram; a daughter-in-law, Marion Bartram; a sister, Margie Rohrkemper; and two brothers, Richard Eckstein and Bert Eckstein.
Mary was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Ashland.
Survivors include a daughter, Christine Bartram Maniskas of Huntington; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard Bartram of Lawton, Okla., and Steven and Julie Bartram of Huntington; eight grandchildren, Kevin Bartram and his wife, Peggy, of Antioch, Calif., Kimberly Beckman and her husband, Darrell, of Lawton, Gretchen Bartram Harrod and her husband, Neal, of Lexington, Ky., Michael Maniskas of Lexington, Stephen Maniskas of Huntington, Hannah Bartram of Lexington and Emily Bartram and Laura Bartram, both of Huntington; three great-grandchildren, Anne Bartram of Antioch and Jonathan Beckman and Danielle Beckman, both of Lawton; three sisters, Cecelia Gallaher of Washington, D.C., Pauline Appledorn of Ashland and Dorothy Goodman of Portsmouth, Ohio; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Ruth Eckstein of Portsmouth; and sisters-in-law Edna Eckstein of Louisville, Ky., and Mary Elizabeth Bartram of Huntington.
The family wishes to express its appreciation to King's Daughters and Sons Assisted Living, Madison Park, Community Hospice of Ashland and Holy Family Catholic Church of Ashland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 526 13th St., Huntington with Monsignor Lawrence Luciana officiating. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
