Mary Hale

Mary Jane Chapman Hale, 81, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018, at her home.
Mrs. Hale was born January 14, 1937, in Ashland, KY, to the late William Trembleton and Nellie May Counts Chapman.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chapman was preceded in death by one daughter, Diana Hale Johnson and two brothers, William "Willie" Chapman and Gene E. Chapman.
Mrs. Hale was a cook for the boats of Ashland Petroleum where she retired in 1999. She attended Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle in Flatwoods, KY.
Mrs. Hale is survived by her loving husband, Thomas A. Hale of Flatwoods, KY; one son, James William Hale of Flatwoods, KY; three daughters, Rose Marie Hale Harris of Westwood, KY; Deborah Hale Vanover and Lea Ann Hale Lawson both of Flatwoods, KY; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle in Flatwoods, KY with Rev. Lloyd L. Bailey and Rev. J.E. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland, KY.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY
