Minnie Spaulding, 87, of Ashland, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
She was born March 8, 1925, in Paintsville, to the late Harry Blanton and Cora Salyor. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters; a daughter, Mammie Lou Gullett Hatfeild, in 2011; a granddaughter, Christie Gullett; and her longtime companion, Willie Gullett, in 2007.
She is survived by two sons, James Gullett of Ashland and William Arthur (Lauren) Gullett of Lexington; a daughter, Linda (Ralph) Bolt of Ashland; a niece whom she raised, Cora Butcher of Ashland; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Souder of Delaware, Ohio.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland by her son, William Gullett. Burial will be in the burial park.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland.
