Norma Parker Griffith, 74, of Ashland, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012, following an extended illness.
Norma was born Jan. 31, 1938, in Ashland, to the late Luther and Hester Boggs Parker.
She retired from Kentucky Power as a customer service supervisor and was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Okie Lee Griffith.
Survivors include two sons, Lee Griffith of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Steve Griffith of Ashland; a brother, James (Beulah) Parker of Westwood; a sister, Helen Clark of Catlettsburg; a grandchild, Ethan Griffith; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at noon Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Grace Church of the Nazarene by Pastor Richard Suman. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood.
