Otis Cripple

Otis Cripple, 77, of Ashland, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Cripple was born April 15, 1941 in Boyd County, KY to the late Elza Cripple and Clarice

Halley Cripple Pack. Otis served his country honorably in the US Army and later retired from

maintenance at the Boyd County Court House. His hobbies included flea market , yard sales, and

hanging out with family and friends.

Otis is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Doris Spillman Cripple, son Tim Cripple (fiancé

Mary) of Ashland, grandchildren, Jon and Arnie, great grandchild Carson “Scooter”.

He was preceded in death by parents, sisters, Geneva Salyers and Fonda Burchette, brother in

law Bill Salyers, and special buddy of over 10 years, boxer Rambo.

Funeral service for Mr. Cripple will be at 1:00pm, Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Neal Funeral

Home, 2409 Center Street, Catlettsburg. Pastor Frank Hulett will officiate. Final rest in Rose Hill

Burial Park with Military Honors by Post 93 of Kenova, WV, the US Army, and the Patriot Guard.

Visiting hours will be from 11:00am until Service time Tuesday at the Funeral Home.

Catlettsburg, KY 41129, The Patriot Guard, or your local Church’s Food Pantry.
