Ruth Hall

Ruth C. Hall, 94, of Ashland, died Sunday June 17, 2018 at Kingsbrook Lifecare Center. She was born December 18, 1923 in Ashland the daughter of the late James A. and Jessie Preston Chaney. She was a former secretary to the director of nurses at King's Daughters' Medical Center, a member of the Democratic Women's Club and a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hall and two sisters, Wilma Stamper and Janice Large. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Ray of Worthington; a son, James Hall (Peggy) of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren, James Sparks, Judy Seize and Janie Hall; four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and five special nieces, Tamara Ryles, Teresa Wells, Sherry Sauret, Linda Looney and Meme Purdue. Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday July 5, 2018 at Rose Hill Mausoleum with Pastor Gary Arrington officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Immediately following the services, there will be a celebration of life at the residence of Teresa Wells in Rush, KY.
