Sharon Rankin

Sharon Lynn Craft Rankin, 79, of Rush, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at her home, her family at her side.
Mrs. Rankin was born November 17, 1939 in Ashland, KY to the late Warren Craft and Helen Damron Craft Clay. She was also preceded in death by her husband Hubert R. Rankin in 2005, and brother, Arthur Craft.
Sharon was a graduate of Thomas R. Brown High School and worked for Ashland Crafts and Opell Meats. She enjoyed reading, quilting,… and spending time with her children and grandkids, a member of Eastern Star Greenhills and Cyrus Chapel.
Sharon is survived by her children, Tony Rankin, Sr (Dottie) of Catlettsburg, Greg Rankin (Crystal) of Gallipolis, OH, and Chuck Rankin (Heather) of Rush, KY, grandchildren, Tony Rankin, Jr (Missy), Jason Rankin, Zack Rankin (Sarah), Ryan Rankin (Taylor), Bethany Dawn Rankin, Alea Jade Rankin, great grandchildren, Alexis Page Rankin, Hailee Brooke Rankin, Braxton Gage Rankin, and Rory Kate Rankin, is expected September. Also surviving are brother, Joey Clay of Cincinnati, OH, sisters, JoAnn Blair of Ashland, KY and Linda Grube (Tom) of Gallipolis, OH.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Rankin will be at 1:00pm Friday, May 10, 2019 at Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home, 2702 Panola Street, Catlettsburg. Pastor Brian Bussey will officiate. Final resting place in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visiting hours are 11:00am until Service Time Friday at the Funeral Home.
