Sherry Caines

Sherry L. Caines, 65, of Ashland, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

She was born Feb. 6, 1949, in Ashland, the daughter of the late Herbert C. and Virginia Sargent Loar.


She was a retired department supervisor for Gulf Aluminum in Clearwater, Fla., and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Billy D. Caines of Ashland; a son, Richard Alan Caines of Catlettsburg; a daughter, Hollie Caines of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Kayla Rivera, Amber Caines and Ian Caines.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum in Ashland.

There will be no visitation.

Miller Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
