William Bunch

William "Doug" Bunch, 73, of Ashland, died Monday March 12, 2018, at his residence. He was born June 9, 1944, in Ashland, the son of the late Jack and Ruth Skaggs Bunch. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Bunch. He was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps. Survivors include his wife, Donna M. Boswell Wells; one daughter, Anne (Donald) Baird of LaFollette, TN; one son, William Scott (Ann) Bunch of LaFollette, TN; one step daughter, Stephanie Wells of Ashland; one step son, Christopher Wells of Ashland; one brother, Thomas Bunch of Lexington, KY; three grandchildren, Brandy Rose, Megan Leach and Nathan Bunch. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday March 16, 2018 at Miller Funeral Home by Rev. Acy Gibson. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Mausoleum, with military honors conducted by Kenova American Legion Post 93. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
