Charles Edward Brown, 86, of Ironton, passed away on Thursday,January9, 2020, atHarbor Health in Ironton,Ohio. Charliewas born on February27, 1933, to the late Raymond andMarieHensleyBrown. In addition to his parents, hewas preceded in death by hisloving wife of 54 years, DorisJean Brown, in 2007; his baby brother, Ronald Brown, and hissister, GlendaRae Zwick. He had countless dogsthat he adored, who have no doubt beenwaiting anxiously for himatthe Rainbow Bridge. Charlie served in theUSMarines and loved hiscountry. Hewas amason and amember ofthe El Hasa Shrine Temple. Heworked hard for over 45 years at Armco/AKSteel until he retired. Charlie, or“Bugs”, enjoyed fixing cars, building things, and relaxing on the porch. He issurvived by hisloving wife, Lucy Jane Brown; hisson, MichaelDavid Brown, ofCincinnati, Ohio; his daughter,Deborah Brown (JerryWheeler), ofCannonsburg, KY; a step-son, Dr. Terry Murray, ofDayton,OH; a step-daughter,JonaYounce, of South Point,OH; three grandchildren, MichaelRaymond Brown (Sabrina), of Ironton,OH; BriannaDavis(Charles), of Ashland, KY; and David Charles Chinn, ofWoodburyHeights, NewJersey; a step-granddaughter, CortniClark; and his great-grandchildren Branson,Delanie, Alex, Darcie, Charleigh, Aubrie, andMerritt; along with a host of extended family and friends. Funeralservices will be conducted at 12:00 PMon Tuesday,January14, 2020, at RoseHillBurial ParkMausoleumChapelwith Rev.JeffCanfield officiating. Visitationwill be from11-12 atthe mausoleumchapel.
